PARKING All vehicles MUST park in designated regular parking areas. NO cars may be parked in designated fire zones, along the building curb line, reserved or administrators parking, or handicapped parking without a valid handicapped sticker displayed. SMOKING POLICY Nassau BOCES is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus, including: classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, offices, the grounds, behind shops, or parking lots.DAMAGE to or LOSS of PERSONAL PROPERTY Nassau BOCES assumes no responsibility, either real or implied, for the personal property of any adult student. Students should review their own insurance coverage regarding personal property liability.LETTER OF COMPLETION A Letter of Completion is mailed to the student as each individual course is successfully completed. The minimum eligibility standards for a Letter of Completion are as follows. Absences of no more than those stated in the Student Attendance Policy. The instructor’s recommendation that the student has successfully met the course requirements and objectives with an average grade of ‘C’ or better (75% for CNA Program) CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION Certificates are mailed to students who successfully complete the required program sequence and submit a completed Certificate Application with necessary documentation attached. The application must be submitted within one year of course completion. There is a $5 fee for duplicate copies of certificates. |
